Summer Drama Camp on the Farm

First through Fifth-graders are invited to participate in a delightfully fun week of Drama Camp at Squash Blossom Farm, taught by storyteller, writer and teacher, Susy Olsen! The camp will end with a performance of Susy's original comedic play, "Life on the Farm Ain't So Laid Back."

About the Event
Give your dramatic first to fifth-grade students an outlet this summer with Drama Camp on the Farm. The camp will be held on the Squash Blossom Farm and will run Monday, June 12 through Thursday, June 15 from 10 to 12:00 PM, ending with a Thursday afternoon performance - family and friends are invited to be the audience.
Children will learn the ins and outs of theater with instructor Susy Olsen and her new original play, “Life on the Farm Ain’t So Laid Back.”
Registrants are asked to bring a washed short sleeve white T-Shirt which is available at most craft stores. Everyone who registers will have a role in this comical, one-act play that will be performed on the barn stage on Thursday, June 15 at 2 p.m.
Register your child early, as spots are limited (Registration ends June 5th, 2023, or when class is filled.) Newbies are encouraged to register!
The dates: 10 AM till noon. Monday, June 12th through Thursday, June 15th with a Free performance Thursday at 2 p.m. for friends and family.
Cost: $50 for 8 hours of instruction and performance.
Scholarships: information available upon request.
