About the Event
A magical morning of art, nature, coffee and scones!
Spend a serene Saturday morning at the farm, meeting artist Susan (Sue) Davies and viewing her most recent nature-inspired works, Into the Unknown. Susan is a delightful and inspirational person who creates both meditative and colorful paintings. Her works are exhibited nationally. On Saturday, August 23rd, Sue will talk informally about her work and Squash Blossom Farm will provide coffee and scones.
Following the gallery talk, you are invited to join in an optional workshop to experience nature as Sue does to inspire her artmaking. Bring a sketchbook or notebook and a writing or drawing utensil for a short walk to the woods. Along the walk, you will listen to the wind and wildlife, meditate, and respond in your sketchbook. There will be time to contemplate and share responses.
